The Vusa Rugby and Learning Academy, in partnership with Shoprite, is hosting a community cleanup event in Langa on Saturday, 6 April 2019.
Vusa aims to bring about social upliftment for 120 under-privileged children through sports and academics, and Shoprite has been supporting this NGO for a number of years.

Recycling is always a key component of any cleanup which Shoprite* supports. To this end Vusa is partnering with Packa-Ching to ensure that as little waste as possible makes it to landfill.

*Shoprite staged Africa’s Biggest Cleanup event in July 2018, which saw more than 12 000 volunteers participating in 465 cleanup events in 12 countries over five days. A total of 26 000 bags of waste were collected.
