The Shoprite Group was named Company of the Year at the News24 Business Awards in Cape Town last night.
The awards recognise companies and CEOs who are doing excellent work in building their businesses, while also going above and beyond in communication, transparency and contributing to South Africa.

According to the Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Pieter Engelbrecht, “the award is a symbol of ordinary people doing the extraordinary”.
