Musgrave residents have a new shopping destination following the opening of the first Checkers FreshX supermarket in the area.
Located at the Musgrave Centre in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, the store promises a premium shopping experience with top brands available at supermarket prices. Customers can look forward to:
- A Meat Market with free-range chicken and top-quality meats
- A wine cellar with an extensive range of wines from around the world
- Fresh flowers for every occasion
- A bakery with artisan breads
- A Krispy Kreme
- Coffee bar
- Hot and cold foods deli for easy entertaining
- A Money Market counter
First Checkers store opens in Musgrave creating 84 new jobs.
With the opening of Checkers Musgrave, 84 new jobs were created, and the store will be managed by KwaMashu's Prince Ngema.
To celebrate the launch, the store will be running a R5 000 trolley dash competition. To enter, a minimum spend of R350 is required and the winners will be announced on Friday, 26 July on the Musgrave Centre’s social media pages. Customers can find more information about the competition in-store.
Checkers Musgrave trades from 08:00 to 20:00 every day.
