Gauteng’s East Rand saw five new Checkers supermarkets open in a single day, on Monday, 08 April 2024.
These new stores offer customers a convenient shopping experience and access to several in-store fresh food departments including a Meat Market, Hot & Cold Foods Deli, Bakery, Fresh Fruit and Vegetables and in-store Money Market counter.
Checkers opens five supermarkets in the East Rand in one day.
The new stores are:
- Checkers Kempton Gate in Kempton Park
- Checkers Elgin in Kempton Park
- Checkers Eden Terrace in Edenvale
- Checkers Glen Balad in Kempton Park
- Checkers Brentwood in Kempton Park
All stores trade Mondays to Sundays from 08:00 to 20:00.
