Whitey Basson on the passing of Nelson Mandela

Today, Whitey Basson, Chief Executive Officer of the Shoprite Group of Companies, issued the following statement on the death of Nelson Mandela, South Africa’s first democratically elected president:

With modesty and humanity he devoted his life to changing and shaping our country for the best.
