Checkers Xtra Savings, South Africa’s most personalised rewards programme, has launched a one-of-a-kind AI art creator for Christmas. It launched this week and is already seeing users create more than 1 000 original artworks per hour.
The platform, hosted at www.xtrasavings.ai, lets anyone make their own Christmas designs by simply describing what scene they want the AI platform to create and selecting an art style. There are 12 styles to choose from, like charcoal, oil painting, or embroidery, and each artwork is unique.

Users are sharing their creations on social media platforms using #CheckersAI, and those who do so and tag Checkers stand to win 1 of 10 Checkers vouchers worth R1,000.
The custom artwork creation is a neat tie-in with Checkers Xtra Savings, which uses similar technology to create personalised deals for shoppers to maximise rewards.
