Just over a year since its planting, Rainbow Primary School’s vegetable garden secured third place in its category, for the 2018 garden competition for Western Cape schools.
The garden, a metaphor for upliftment in Wesbank, was recognised in the National School Nutrition Programme-Sustainable Food Production (NSNP-SFP) garden competition for its outstanding produce.
