A substantial donation of groceries from Checkers enabled the Hanna Charity & Empowerment Foundation to recently assist vulnerable families across Mpumalanga, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape with essential hampers that included toiletries, rice, cooking oil and other non-perishable items.
Grocery hampers donated by Checkers were recently distributed to local communities in Boksburg and surrounds by the Hanna Charity & Empowerment Foundation..
The supermarket chain has been supporting the Foundation – that is committed to uplifting and transforming communities through hunger relief – since 2019, with regular donations of groceries and surplus food.
